In the wretchedness

when wickedness devoured the hopes

the giant of Apartheid nipped the dreams

when humanity droops down deep

and land was craving for peace

U came as the hope

Madiba, The Father of the land...

like a Sun ......

to waif the darkness of Oppression

to lynch the demon of Revulsion !!!

Madiba, the Messiah.....

of destitutes, tyrannized.,

and the trampled........

with his agility and ability

sanguine the mists into pool

disperse dreams into rain

the rain of peace and tranquility

equality and Liberty..

and for the love of Humanity...

pilgrimages to  prisons

the sands of Robben Island

still hold the emblem,

of your long walks and strength ..

the walls of Pollsmoor Prison

still holds your breath

your dreams and Vision.

the iron bars of Victor Verster Prison

still feels your touch.....

the benignant and clement !!!!

keeping the ray of hope alive

into the hearts of millions

you yawed the ray into sun

more vibrant and lustrous

to cast away the murky fog

the oppression and apartheid

you intrude the hopes into the minds

of poor and oppressed..

to resist and fight

for the right, the cause of freedom

against all odds of oppression !!

you showed how to realise the dreams

crown the hopes and wishes...

with the light of freedom in the soul

you carve the new land

the abode of love and harmony

with no place for racism and asperity...

Madiba, the saviour

you are not departed

neither your soul nor your vision

they are here wandering and roaming

in the hearts and minds

of deprived and persecuted...

you will come back

and you have to come back

once again for the triumph of equality

justice and tranquility ...!!!

we will wait for your rise again

chanting your names
